Construction Sense Activity

Construction Sense encourages young participants to experience a site visit focussing on their five senses; sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing and then produce a piece of creative writing capturing their thoughts.

Construction Sense can contribute to curriculum outcomes and is a fun early introduction to construction careers.

Building Materials

To highlight the different materials used within the construction industry and raise awareness of careers in construction.

Participants will be asked to consider a range of materials used in the construction industry, to perform simple comparative tests and to record and discuss their results.
